To provide storage for the Essex Collection of Fine Art from Latin America (ESCALA) at the Essex University campus in Colchester, Forster Ecospace has combined pull out picture racking with glass fronted shelved units and storage drawers.
Working closely with the Director of ESCALA, Ecospace has been able to provide the maximum storage space for both pictures and artefacts within a defined area which is adjacent to a seminar room and separated from it by a glass partition.
To allow pictures to be easily displayed, Ecospace has also supplied and fixed framed mesh panels, similar to those used in the picture racking, to the walls of the seminar room.
Said Dr Jo Harwood, Director of ESCALA: “Following discussions about our requirements, Ecospace has produced a solution to our storage requirements which is ideally suited to our needs and we are extremely pleased with what has been achieved.”
