- The magazine of the American Library Association. The print edition, published six times a year, is available to ALA subscribers, but there is plenty of news, features and posts on the website.

- Library Trends
- Quarterly journal published by the Johns Hopkins Press. In-depth articles on professional themes. The Summer 2011 issue is on library buildings and design including an article on British public library design in the 1960s.
