The IFLA Library Buildings & Equipment Section has been busily adding posts to the Inspiring Libraries series on Instagram recently
The IFLA LBES Mid-Year meeting will be taking place 10th-15th April in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. Presentations should be recorded and available after the event.
Not directly IFLA-related, although the report's author presented interim findings in Hawaii at mid-year in April 2024 (video here), architects Warren and Mahoney published a report (free to download): The evolution of the academic library.

Innovation in Library Design webinar
The webinar on February 19th, hosted by the Naseej Academy, featured four guest speakers: DL Director Ayub Khan, DL Advisory Group Chair and Library Building consultant Karen Latimer, The Design Concept CEO Daniela Hislop, and Bechir Souid, Head of AP Culture.
The session, attended by 230 delegates, considered themes around Flexible and Multi-use Spaces,Community-Centric Design, Biophilic Design, and The Role of Library Leaders in the Design Process. The webinar recording can be seen here.
