Aberaeron Library, Ceredigion, Wales

Oldham Library
Opened in 2006, Oldham is one of the UK’s busiest libraries. The ground floor has been refreshed to meet evolving needs.

Kinmel Bay, Llanfairfechan and Uwchaled Libraries, Conwy, Wales
The refurbishment of three small libraries in North Wales presented big design challenges and proved that every decision matters when space is limited. The Borough Council and committees of passionate volunteers worked with designers to make the spaces seem much bigger than before.
Sale Library, Trafford
The library moved into a little-used atrium to take centre stage and provide users with an open, airy and flexible space which can accommodate events and exhibitions. What had become a bare and awkward space has become a buzzing cultural hub.
