High Heaton Community Library will also house a satellite Customer Service Point giving customers a direct free video and 'phone link to specialist help on City Council Services based in the Civic Centre.
The Library as well as providing adult lending and reference services has a separately designated Children's Library.
There is a Community Room equipped with an intercative whiteboard and digital projector. The room accommodates up to 30 people, has display facilities and can be accessed outside the library opening hours.
