New windows and external cladding replaced. Internal refurbishment included new carpets, replacement self-service terminal, new counters, replacement ceiling and lighting grid, some new shelving, new furniture (soft seating, tables, kinder boxes, study and coffee tables), new window blinds and a layout change.

We also have a millennium tapestry done by local people depicting scenes of historic importance to the town.
