Curved Shelving and Reception

Entrance Foyer
Description
Description
The new County Council building for Worksop provides a range of facilities and services in a single location giving improved access and environment in which to enhance services under a single roof.
The anchor service is a state of the art modern public library replacing the current building on the adjacent site which is now over 70 years old. In addition registration services (including a marriage suite), social care day services (mental health / learning difficulties), youth services, adult learning and the community learning development team office bases all provide services to their client groups.
The building is a significant investment in Worksop of 8.4M and provides a focus for the County Council in the area and has the potential to demonstrate a 'one council' approach to customer facing services.
