Learning Gateway

The Learning Gateway is the College's first flexible learning space designed from the outset with active learning in mind. The space has been conceived using a set of pedagogical principles that articulate the College's Learning and Teaching Strategy and flexible and distributed learning aspirations.

The learning environment is designed to provide student centred facilities: furnishings to promote collaboration; colours and layouts that suggest rather than impose, no fixed pcs, student and tutor presentations facilities; interactive lecture theatre. ICT capability for streaming, data capture and video conferencing; portability for accommodating learning flows and future needs of learners.
