14 April 2011

The guide was compiled in association with Harrow Green, the specialist library and museum relocation experts and a sponsor of the Designing Libraries website. The Design Guideline, ‘Planning a successful library move’, is available as a download from this page.

Harrow Green has managed a number of major library relocation and interim storage projects, with clients including the British Library, John Rylands University Library and currently Manchester Central Library. This Design Guideline captures their experience in helping libraries plan and manage complex relocation and refurbishment projects, both large and small.
