Size of the refurbished/extension areas ground and first

floors including new stairs, but excluding toilet lobbies on floors 2 & 3 is 3,286 sqm. Phase one refurbishment budget - GBP 6m.

computers and seating are for the ground & 1st floors.

1. The WC contain a PIR sensor controlling the ventilation, providing an overrun of 25mins. When not in use, the vent in the WCs run down to a trickle; yet once activated by the PIR upon entry, the vent will ramp up to the level required.

2. Main glazed entrance lobby contain trench heating to the periphery within the floor, main floor area of the lobby has underfloor heating.

3. Intelligent daylight saving are automatically controlled per individual light, detecting the level of natural daylight within that vicinity. If the level of natural daylight is sufficient, the lights dim accordingly, to the point of switching off.

4. Lighting in general is sensored to movement, however, staff areas remain on in banks in the event that individuals are working late - hence will not be subjected to surrounding darkness.
