Coventry celebrates reopening of refurbished Central Library

The new look Central Library reopens in Coventry after a £130,000 refurbishment, the first since the library opened in 1986.

Repainted and newly recarpeted, with an improved children's are, the library celebrated its official reopening on 17 May.

Other visible changes include the expansion of the Books on Prescription area into a Health and Wellbeing Zone, a rebranding of multicultural and language collections into a World Zone, additional wi-fi coverage, a shop and new furniture.
