Dublin Central Library relocation planned

Plans to relocate Dublin's Central Library to the north side of Parnell Square is part of a larger vision for a 'cultural cluster' to revitalise the area.

10 April 2013

The success of the project will be dependent on raising over 60m Euros.

The Georgian buildings the library would occupy would be renovated, reports the Irish Times, 'with a substantial library – indicatively shown as a circular building,' built behind.
