University of Hull releases first transformation images

The University of Hull reveals the first images of how the biggest capital project in its history will transform the Brynmor Jones Library.

18 March 2013

Due for completion in spring 2014, the redevelopment of the Brynmor Jones Library will create a state-of-the-art place of learning for generations to come.

The new Reading Room on the first floor of the original 1959 building will restore this part of the Library to its former grandeur.

The ground floor is being converted into two stunning gallery spaces.

There will be a new atrium, entrance and cafe, and more open spaces are being created.
