Logan City Council Libraries’ Sensory Space is a hands-on environment for families and children of all abilities to explore and learn together through play via technology, sight, sound, touch and movement.

Developed in partnership with sector and industry specialists, the space is in the children’s area of the Marsden Library and built with funding from the State Library of Queensland’s Vision 2017 grant program and Logan City Council. Amongst a range of special features, it includes play-based equipment including a bubble tube, touch screen, tablets and wall toys. Kits for families and groups to use with children are also available including social and emotions, tactile, fine coordination, auditory, visual, relaxation and switch toys.
