Description
The newly refurbished Upminster Library, Advice & Service Centre re-opened in January 2005. The library was closed last summer to modernise and enhance the facilities and services provided. Building works have included replacing the roof and windows, extending the entrance and installing a platform lift and automatic doors to give easier access to the facilities. Other changes include the provision of a local advice and service centre, a separate area for young adults, baby changing facilities and toilet for people with disabilities. A parking space for people with disabilities has been created at the front of the building.
